Congratulations to Early Head Start and Head Start Associate Director Brigette Davis (second row, sixth from left) and Director of Family Services Meredith Mitchell (second row, third from left) for their acceptance into and completion of the
UCLA Head Start Management Fellows Program!
Designed from a strategic planning perspective, the Fellows Program provides a unique opportunity for Head Start executives to participate in a 12-day intensive leadership and management development training session at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Brigette and Meredith will develop a Management Improvement Plan through their work in the fellowship training. With this knowledge, the two will work together to chart a path forward using the plan they have developed to enhance infrastructure and services.
Congratulations, Brigette and Meredith!
With a goal to overcome the challenges and barriers facing advocacy and engagement, the ECPWAF will help early learning advocates learn how the system works and best ways to engage in the legislative process.
In March of 2023, the Policy Fellows will “graduate” as advocacy experts during Children’s Week in Tallahassee.
Congratulations, Brigette!
