Meet Our Children
Meet some of the children that receive services at Children First as they go through their day. Over 550 children are served each day at 11 sites throughout the county.

Outback Luncheon
Children First held it’s 4th Annual Outback Luncheon at the Outback Steakhouse of Venice. Proprietor Mike Summerall designated 100% of the proceeds to purchase the Children First Foodmobile, which will deliver hot meals to the children at our sites in Englewood, North Port, Laurel – Nokomis and Venice. Over $3500 was raised.

Children First - Helen R. Payne Dedication
The community has come together to help us make our Children First - Helen R. Payne Center an even better place for our kids. It has been completely renovated inside and out and now has a brand new playground. Innumerable volunteers scraped, painted, lifted and did whatever was needed to each class to reflect the standard of Children First’s nationally recognized Program of Achievement status.

The Virtual Refrigerator
Visit our art gallery and see the work of some of our up and coming artists. Here they are hard at work creating masterpieces that will be seen on refrigerators all over the world.

Fathers Day Funfest
Our 4th Annual Fathers Day Funfest broke all past records and over 250 fathers and families came out to celebrate fathers. Most were graduates from the Nurturing Dads Initiative. Check out our class section for more information about joining the next Nurturing Dad's class.
